Deposit and Accepted Payment Options

How much deposit should I pay upon safari booking confirmation?

At Goldentrips, we require a 40% deposit upon safari booking confirmation. This deposit secures your reservation and allows us to begin planning and preparing for your safari experience. The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon arrival or through bank transfer prior to the start of your safari. We advise that you make your deposit payment in advance to ensure the availability of your preferred dates and accommodations. Our team will confirm receipt of your deposit and provide you with a detailed itinerary of your safari adventure. Accepted payment options

  • Bank Transfer: At Goldentrips, we offer the convenience of bank transfer for our customers who prefer to make payments through this option. Simply transfer the funds from your bank account to ours, and we will confirm receipt of payment via email. This option is secure and ensures that your payment is processed in a timely and efficient manner. Please note that it may take a few business days for the funds to clear, so we advise that you make your payment in advance to avoid any delays in your travel plans.
  • Cash: For those who prefer to make payments in cash, we also accept this option at Goldentrips. You can visit our office to make your payment, and we will provide you with a receipt for your records. This option is particularly convenient for local customers who wish to avoid bank transfer fees or for those who prefer to have physical proof of their payment. Please note that if you are paying in a currency other than the local currency, the exchange rate will be calculated based on the current rate at the time of payment.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and as such, we have established a cancellation policy to ensure transparency and fairness in the event of a cancellation. If a cancellation is received 90 days or more prior to departure, you will receive a full refund.
  2. For cancellations received between 60 and 30 days prior to departure, a portion of the safari cost will be forfeited as a result of the cancellation. Specifically, 20% of the safari cost will be forfeited.
  3. For cancellations received between 29 and 15 days prior to departure, a larger percentage of the safari cost will be forfeited. Specifically, 70% of the safari cost will be forfeited in these circumstances.
  4. In the unfortunate event that a cancellation is received within 14 days of the scheduled departure date, 100% of the safari cost will be forfeited. We understand that this may be disappointing news, but we have implemented this policy to ensure that we can continue to provide the best possible service to all of our clients.
  5. Please be aware that in the case of a no-show, no refunds will be issued. We strongly encourage our clients to keep us informed of any changes to their plans so that we can make the necessary arrangements and minimize any potential issues or complications.
